WAKING UP TO NOW: Acceptance, presence, Mindfulness:

 

During our time together, we will begin with checking in, a grounding meditation to bring us here, together, and then will discuss what it means to each of us to live in the now. We will review the concepts of acceptance, presence, and mindfulness, as well as heartfulness, from the perspectives of more modern and ancient wisdom leaders, artists, writers and seekers such as Eckhart Tolle, Tara Brach, Pema Chodron, Thich Nat Hahn, Jon Kabat-Zinn and Jack Kornfield. We may experiment with some practices or exercises to support us with learning how to access ourselves in present time. Sharing your practices with the group, that help you already, will be welcomed too.
